Bridj wanted an urban mass-transit product for Boston: passenger iOS and Android apps, a driver Android app, and web administration — backed by Ruby on Rails.
Other firms estimated 6–8 months and more than a million dollars. We shipped in about 14 weeks from a focused twelve-point brief, using a modular approach so engineers could move in parallel.
Shortly after launch, Bridj raised Series A financing and saw a valuation mark around $60M.
